As part of this week’s national Climate Week campaign, the Environment Agency and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) have published a free, short guide to help medium-sized businesses with adapting to a changing climate.
Be Climate Ready covers issues ranging from extreme weather events such as flooding and heat waves to the day-to-day impacts of rising global temperatures.
It includes straightforward, practical ideas for businesses, to help mitigate the growing risks to business growth and continuity.
The annual Climate Week campaign, which runs from Monday 4 March until Sunday 10 March this year, is designed to inspire a wave of actions for a more sustainable future.
More than half a million people take part each year, with events being run by schools, businesses, charities, local councils and other groups or individuals.
