Return to Work helps Incapacity Benefit Claimants from Eden and South Lakeland get back onto employment.

Key tasks include:
• One to one advisory work with clients
• Action planning
• Arranging appropriate packages of client support
• Arranging training for clients including organising bespoke courses
• Finding clients employment opportunities

VOLUNTEER BUSINESS MENTORS WANTED ACROSS CUMBRIA

CREA are looking for experienced business people who are prepared to use their hard won experience and skills to benefit the local business community. You may be retired, between businesses or careers, or still running your business but are prepared to volunteer some regular time to mentor a young businesses owner, someone making a step change or wanting to take time out from the day to day priorities to think about where they are going with their business.

  • Qualifications to be a mentor:
  • Excellent understanding of Business Planning and Finance
  • Ability to create a good working relationship with client
  • Ability to listen, motivate, guide and support
  • You may also have knowledge and experience in the following areas:
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Legal/Intellectual Property Issues
  • HR or H&S
  • IT and business applications
  • Tendering and pricing contracts
